At The Moody Mug Cafe, it’s all about feel-good, homemade treats—simple, nostalgic, and baked with care. Inspired by family recipes and a love for comfort food, everything’s made from scratch, in small batches, right from my kitchen to yours.

How to Order

Step 1: Pre-order

All treats are baked fresh and sold in packs. Orders are open Sunday–Wednesday. Why pre-orders? It’s just me in the kitchen, and this helps make sure every bite is fresh, delicious, and made with care.

Step 2: Check your email

Your receipt and pickup details will arrive in your inbox—so you know exactly when and where to grab your sweet, fresh-from-the-oven treats.

Step 3: Pickup & enjoy

Grab your goodies in Vernon Hills, IL on Fridays between 3–7 PM or Saturdays from 9 AM–12 PM. Call (808) 753-9239 when you arrive, and I’ll bring your fresh, homemade treats right out to you.

Hi, I’m Megan (aka Mug)!

The Moody Mug Cafe started as a fun hobby—just me baking treats in my home kitchen for my husband to bring to work and share with his team. Over time, it turned into a true passion and grew into a cozy little cottage food business.

I’m a straight-forward person who believes in straight-forward food. Nothing fancy—just nostalgic, feel-good snacks that remind you of home. My recipes are inspired by my family back in Hawai‘i, along with my love for the simple things in life.

Everything is made fresh, in small batches, with care and intention—because that’s how homemade should be. Food brings people together, and I hope every bite makes you feel that.
